Overcoming of liberty's light to the darkness of the Tyrannical Iran Regime

Former United States Secretary of Homeland Security, Tom Ridge,  spoke at the “Free Iran” rally held in Villepinte . He said that just before he took to the stage he was reminded as to why the event was taking place. He said that he had been speaking to a woman who has lost six members of her family.
He said that the “light of liberty can overcome and replace the darkness of the tyrannical Iranian regime”. The light of freedom, he said, is kept going by all those who has lost their lives for the cause and by the people of Camp Ashraf and by those who have lived through the terror caused by the Iranian regime.

The Iranian regime's condemnation of the Orlando mass shooting must be viewed against a backdrop of its status as the world’s most active state sponsor of terrorism, former United States Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge wrote in an op-ed piece in The Washington Times on Thursday.

"It’s hard to imagine an expression of sympathy more disingenuous," he wrote, adding that the West must not fall for the deceptive smiles of the terrorist regime in Iran.
