Is Regime Change Truly The Correct Iran Policy?

Following the recertification of Iran’s compliance with a nuclear deal aimed at curbing its controversial nuclear program, there is quite a stir over the Trump administration possibly adopting a regime change policy in the face of Tehran’s belligerence.
There are those who favor such a trajectory, while Iran lobbyists and apologists have promptly argued otherwise, saying war should not be an option and citing ongoing campaigns in countries across the region to back their opinions.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s strong position of supporting regime change in a hearing of the House Foreign Affairs Committee sent shockwaves in Tehran and beyond.

The U.S. Policy Undoubtedly Seeks Regime Change in Iran

The U.S. Policy Undoubtedly Seeks Regime Change in Iran
The state-run TV in Iran is terrified about the overthrow and change of the Iran regime. Upon its perspective, the TV channel claimed that," the U.S. policy undoubtedly seeks to overthrow the regime. They actually want to change the regime with resolutions and force."
The American diplomat, Rex Tillerson made some interesting points. He stipulated that, 'the former U.S. systems, including the Obama's administration, provided us with full of open files. Nevertheless, we will close the cases for the next government.' According to him, they look forward to changing the Iran regime especially by exerting economic pressures, passing resolutions, and military intimidations.

Iran will never change its ways and will continue to terrorise the world

Iran Regime's Belligerence Needs to Be Put to an End
Four Senators have advised Tillerson to make it clear that Iran has disregarded the terms of the nuclear deal. They reminded him that the deal itself states that the regime should be punished for acts of defiance regarding the deal.
They  emphasised that if Iran keeps getting a free pass for every aggressive or provocative act it made, like it did with the Obama administration, it will never change its ways and will continue to terrorise the world.
It is thought that Tillerson will treat Iran aggressively. Although he granted certification last time, it is presumed that this was to keep things as they were while Trump was taking office. He criticised President Obama’s lax approach to Iran saying that “strategic patience” didn’t work. This is maybe an indication that the buck stops being passed on now.

Secretary of State clearly calls for regime change in Iran

U.S. Should Turn Up The Heat On Iran
Rex Tillerson called the support of "elements inside of Iran that would lead to a peaceful transition of" power. He made the comments in a hearing on State Department budget for next year before the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Secretary Tillerson’s testimony on Iran, coupled with that of near unanimous Senate vote on “Countering Iran's Destabilizing Activities Act of 2017” bill condemning mullahs’ missile proliferation program, human rights record and destabilizing role in the Middle East, was received in Tehran as a recipe for disaster.
Secretary of State clearly calls for regime change in Iran. It might be a coincidence that at the same time the strongest Senate vote to date against Iran’s religious dictatorship is passed with 98 votes out of 100.

Khamenei is testing President Trump: Here’s what he should do

Khamenei is testing President Trump: Here’s what he should do
Iran’s leadership is prepared to test the new administration: on its publicly stated commitment to confront Iran when it fails to meet its obligations under the JCPOA (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action), when it violates United Nations sanctions, or when it engages in destabilizing activities in the region. Raymond Tanter and Ed Stafford wrote in ‘The Hill’ on March 12, 2017 and the article continues as follows:
Given the other actors involved with the JCPOA and U.N. sanctions on ballistic missiles, Washington has only a few unilateral options for confronting Iranian misbehavior. One of those is designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO).
The State Department FTO list for 2015, published in June 2016, includes neither the Quds Force nor its parent, the IRGC. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson can add both to the list pursuant to three criteria: They must be foreign organizations engaged in terrorist activity that threatens U.S. persons or U.S. national security (i.e., national defense, foreign relations or the economic interests of the United States). Because of the IRGC-QF's ongoing support for terrorist activities, no justification for its designation is needed. Herein we argue that its parent organization, the IRGC, also merits designation, due to its function as the paymaster of the Quds Force.
