Is Regime Change Truly The Correct Iran Policy?

(FILES) A picture dated September 21, 2012, shows a Raad air defense system carrying Taer missiles being

Following the recertification of Iran’s compliance with a nuclear deal aimed at curbing its controversial nuclear program, there is quite a stir over the Trump administration possibly adopting a regime change policy in the face of Tehran’s belligerence.
There are those who favor such a trajectory, while Iran lobbyists and apologists have promptly argued otherwise, saying war should not be an option and citing ongoing campaigns in countries across the region to back their opinions.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s strong position of supporting regime change in a hearing of the House Foreign Affairs Committee sent shockwaves in Tehran and beyond.

Iran Seeking Regional Dominance Two Years after Nuclear Deal

Two Years after Nuclear Deal, Iran Seeking Regional Dominance
July marks the second anniversary of the controversial nuclear deal between Iran and P5+1, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).A deal which not only did not stop Iran’s nuclear program, but it only delayed it and at the same time provided billions of dollars to the regime to pursue its destructive policies in the region.
The Obama Administration and other advocates of the appeasement policy claimed that this agreement would bring serious changes to Iran’s behavior, including its actions in the Middle East. Two years on, it is increasingly evident that these claims, hollow and baseless on some levels, have fallen short.
The overthrow of this regime is necessary, feasible and within reach, and that a democratic alternative and an organized resistance exists to topple it, she underscored.

Iran will never change its ways and will continue to terrorise the world

Iran Regime's Belligerence Needs to Be Put to an End
Four Senators have advised Tillerson to make it clear that Iran has disregarded the terms of the nuclear deal. They reminded him that the deal itself states that the regime should be punished for acts of defiance regarding the deal.
They  emphasised that if Iran keeps getting a free pass for every aggressive or provocative act it made, like it did with the Obama administration, it will never change its ways and will continue to terrorise the world.
It is thought that Tillerson will treat Iran aggressively. Although he granted certification last time, it is presumed that this was to keep things as they were while Trump was taking office. He criticised President Obama’s lax approach to Iran saying that “strategic patience” didn’t work. This is maybe an indication that the buck stops being passed on now.

voices are heard speaking of winds of change in Iran

Finally the international community is gradually but surely realizing how appeasement will only yield further destruction and this is after far too many years. Leader Ali Khamenei’s failure to engineer the recent presidential election to unify his regime for the tsunamis ahead. then voices are heard speaking of winds of change in Iran. Iran’s society, described as a powder keg due to social discontent, is literally simmering.
Iranian opposition leader Maryam Rajavi was the keynote speaker of a recent convention in Paris where she delivered a very different and new perspective on how to resolve the Iran dilemma.
We are also only a week away from July 14th, marking the second year of the Iran nuclear deal signing. Despite a windfall of over $100 billion dollars pouring into Iran, this agreement has failed to provide meaningful change in people’s lives.
Considering Raisi’s notorious role in the 1988 massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners, and a massive campaign launched by activists of the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) inside Iran, Khamenei’s candidate stood no chance.

Iran’s Impasse and the “mother of all sanctions”

Iran’s Impasse and the “Sanctions Black Hole”
The current plan for sanctions against Iran leaves the regime between a proverbial rock and hard place, since its choices are comply or die.
The adoption of “Countering Iran’s Destabilizing Activities Act of 2017” by the US Senate has rendered a variety of reactions from Iran resembling the terrified status of the regime’s senior ranks. Iranian media have widely referred to this new bill and the resulting authorizations as the “mother of all sanctions” and the “sanctions black hole.”
“5th section  of this bill is related to new sanctions against the IRGC
Based on the articles of this new bill, any individual or entity in cooperation with the IRGC will be sanctioned.
the new sanctions will be imposing economic suffocation and regime experts believe these new measures enjoy a far broader reach than the pre-Iran nuclear deal sanctions.

EU Prolongs Sanctions on Iran Over Human Rights Violations

EU Prolongs Sanctions on Iran Over Human Rights Violations

The EU  extended  sanctions against Iran for "serious human rights violations", a narrower measure than restrictions the bloc had already lifted after an international accord on Tehran's nuclear programme until April 2018.
The EU has pursued rapprochement with Iran since the 2015 nuclear deal, which reversed a decade of hard-hitting Western financial and trade sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

Iran must adhere to all the obligations

IAEA: Iran Risks Nuclear Deal by Not Adhering to Limits

NCRI
- The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) told Iran on Thursday that it was risking the nuclear deal with the West by yet again exceeding the limit placed on a sensitive material, heavy water, Reuters reported.

The Board of Governors meeting in Vienna also saw the U.S. and Iran clash over the issue in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). U.S. Ambassador to the IAEA, Laura Holgate, said, "We note with concern Iran's accumulation of heavy water in excess of the limit set forth in the JCPOA of 130 metric tonnes."

Iran Defies Limits Set in Nuclear Deal Again

Iran Defies Limits Set in Nuclear Deal Again

Fox News has reported that Iran has violated a term of the nuclear deal regarding the country’s heavy water stockpile limit. The information was confirmed in a confidential report by the United Nations’ atomic watchdog on Wednesday which was the same day that Iran demanded the U.S. sticks to the nuclear deal.
The Associated Press saw the report just after the announcement that Donald Trump won the U.S. election when the Iranian regime warned the U.S. about honouring their side of the deal. Trump had previously said that the nuclear agreement was “the worst deal ever negotiated”.
Fox News pointed out that the agreement allows for up to 143.3 tons of heavy water and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report stated that Iran had 0.10 metric tons more than this limit. Their investigators stated that this was the second time Iran has went over the limit. The first time was in February this year.

SECRET BASES OF IRAN REGIME IN SYRIA

SECRET BASES OF IRAN REGIME IN SYRIA
"IF it WAS NOT for IRAN support, [SYRIAN PRESIDENT BASHAR] ASSAD WOULD HAVE BEEN EXPELLED LONG AGO AND THE SITUATION WOULD BE VERY DIFFERENT"

Report: Daniel Iriarte // Format: Pablo Lopez Learte
SECRET BASES OF IRAN REGIME IN SYRIA
If it was not for Iran, long time ago [Syrian President Bashar] Assad would have been expelled and the situation would be very different now , "says Shahin Ghobadi. The words of this member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of the Resistance of Iran , one of the main Iranian opposition organizations, are not too surprising. Yes they are, however, several of the revelations made by this group in a report that was accessed by El Confidencial: that Iran 'involvement in the war in Syria is much greater than previously thought, to the point which they are Iranian officers who control military operations, and that the number of troops commanded by Iranians far exceeds that of Assad's own troops.
"Iran is funding the war. It is the Iranian regime who has paid for the tens of thousands of Iraqi foreign mercenaries, Lebanese and Afghan envoys to Syria. Iran has even convinced the Russians to provide a very low price advanced weaponry, "said Ghobadi. "By theway, this has been paid for with unfrozen money after the nuclear deal with Iran , “he told El Confidencial.
According to the NCRI, Iran has divided the country into five military regions (the central area and the four cardinal points), each under a different command center. The headquarters is in a building at Damascus airport code name is "Glass House", which, according to opponents, have no access to even Syrian troops. From there, Iranian forces can control the arrival of supplies from Iran or perform a quick evacuation if the insurgents were to take the Syrian capital. In addition, foreign fighters, such as Hezbollah , the Shiite militias in Iraq and Afghanistan or Palestinian volunteers do not follow the orders of Syrian generals but of the commanders of the Revolutionary Guards ( 'Pasdaran') .

Gov. Tom Ridge: A year later, promises of Iran deal unfulfilled
NCRI - The Philadelphia Inquirer published an op-ed on Tuesday from Gov. Tom Ridge, the former U.S. Homeland Security Secretary, in which he argues for a new American policy on Iran which identifies itself with the Iranian people and their cry for democracy and freedom.
The following is the text of Gov. Ridge's op-ed:

Iran - What is The Way Forward After the Iran Nuclear Deal

Prof. Raymond Tanter, a former senior staff member of the U.S. National Security Council
Prof. Raymond Tanter, a former senior staff member of the U.S. National Security Council, has written an op-ed in the run-up to the anniversary of the world powers’ nuclear deal with the Iranian regime.
In an article for Townhall on Thursday, Prof. Tanter writes:
Agreed to on July 14, 2015, we are fast approaching the first year anniversary of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) between Iran and the world powers. The next couple of weeks are an ideal time to evaluate what changes have occurred in the interim.
The Way Forward After the Iran Nuclear Deal
Regional Instability
According to Matthew McGinnis, a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, about a year after the nuclear deal with Iran, it is embroiled in several major regional conflicts. Two are “hot” ones: against opposition and Islamist groups in Syria and Islamic State in Iraq. The more are “colder” ones: a regional feud with Saudi Arabia and efforts against Israel in southern Lebanon and the Golan Heights, which are shaped by the Syrian Civil War.
